DUNGEON OF DOOM
For my Final Year Project, I was given free rein on creating any kind of game I wanted to as long as it was feasible to make it in my time limit. As I had been playing a lot of God of War I decided that I wanted to make a game that was combat based, originally I followed a tutorial to recreate the same effect of the Leviathan Axe. So I had my weapon, but then it didn't interface properly with my enemies and as such it had to be dropped from the final project.
After I got rid of the throwing mechanic, my game started to come together and I developed a Hack & Slash-esque combat system with all the tropes that come with it, such as a combo system and health potions; and obviously enemies which were the trickiest to get working due to their AI. However, I soon got the AI working and I had the finished game that you can see in the following images.
